SEO Elite is a piece of software that claims to save you thousands of hours in optimizing your SEO strategies.

Its current version is Seo Elite v4, but it is continuously upgraded so the version number may change over time.

When you buy SEO Elite software, Brad Callen promises to automate your SEO efforts and save you hours upon hours of work by (for example) making sure that your site is not being hurt because you are linking out to sites that have been penalized by the search engines.

It is quite a claim that to buy seo software you can focus on generating income and building more sites rather than manually checking if your links are still being reciprocated.

How does the software do this ?

Unlike other SEO Elite Reviews, in this SEO Elite Review we investigate if the claims are true and what the advantages as well as disadvantages are of this piece of SEO software.

 

SEO Elite functionality

SEO Elite consists of 8 projects, each one is described shortly below:

• Project 1: Analyze backlinks using a specified search engine
  Allows you to find out who your competitor's link partners are so you can request your own backlinks.
  Once you supply the URL to analyze, you can filter the results as follows:
  • Max no of results
  • Which search engine to use
  • Skip any URLS ?
  • Filter sites by keyword
  • Which report criteria would you like to see ?
  • Alexa Rank
  • Site's age
  • Show Unique results
  • Google PR
  • Whois Info
  • Show Unique IPs

• Project 2: Get links to your pages
  This project can find and contact high ranking authority sites in order to try and exchange links with them, either via email or link submission.
  You can find competitors by using their URL, search for them via keyword searches and filter the results based on pagerank or which search engine finds them.
  You can then send emails (via SEO Elite) using email templates.
  
  Note that it would be better to send customized emails to webmasters for better results.
  There is also an option to submit your site to multiple website directories and a functionality for you to build a page of resources for all those reciprocal links you'll be building.


• Project 3: Analyze allinanchor, allintitle and allintext
  This section allows you to analyze competitors in one (or all) of 3 ways:
  • Rank the websites with the most backlinks containing the relevant keyword. (allinanchor)
  • Rank the websites with the most optimized title for the relevant keyword (allintitle)
  • Rank the websites with the most optimized page for the relevant keyword (allintext)


• Project 4: Verify that link partners are still linking back
  This is where the claim turns out to be true; the real time-saver:
  Analyze if your link partners still link back to you.
  It's an old trick to reciprocate a link and then to take that link down later in the hope that you won't bother to check as it is so time consuming.
  SEO Elite's project 4 helps you check up on your link partners.
  You supply a links page (doesn't have to be 'live') and the software visits each site listed on your links page to search for a link back to your site.
  You can view the results in detail: link text, page PR, Alexa rank, page title, number of links on the page.
  This way you can determine which link partners are valid.


• Project 5: Find out where your site is ranked for a given word
  Check out where you site ranks over time.
  You select which keywords to do the ranking search for and then you can run the searches manually or automatically by scheduling them.
  This way you can see if your rankings increased or dropped over time.


• Project 6: Find out how many pages are indexed
  This project will search the selected search engine(s) for you site's pages to find if they are indexed or not.
  The results page shows you which search engine is relevant to the result, how many pages were indexed at that search engine, how many pages could be retrieved and the Google PR for each page.


• Project 7. Find possible authority websites
  This allows you to search for potential link partners.
  SEO Elite will gather the contact information for you.
  You decide which search engine to use for the search: (Google, Yahoo or MSN) and which keyword to search for.
  Determine the number of websites to analyze and the minimum number of websites that need to link directly to a website to be considered an authority website.
  


• Project 8: Submit Your Articles
  This project allows you to submut your article to the most popular article directories automatically.
  You enter information about your article (title, description, resource box, html body and plain text body) in several text boxes which constitute an article and then submit that article to the top article directories.
  The submission window will give you access to each article directory's login page and will pre-fill in your login details if you have visited the site before.

 

Negative traits

• No trial
  As with all of Brad Callen's software, there is no SEO Elite trial verion, only the SEO Elite full version.


• SEO pricing
  The SEO Elite price is currently US$ 167 which is a bit steep.
  If you are just starting out, don't go out and spend this amount of money until you have some proof that your venture is profitable, only spend when you know that your niche is a good one.
  There is no SEO Elite discount and no trial version, but you can download SEO Elite by paying for it, test it and ask for your money back if you are unhappy with the product.
  Remember that the money-back guarantee lasts 8 weeks from day of purchase.


• Article submission restrictions
  There is no way to change the title or description for different versions of one article.
  SEO Elite's project 8 is great to help you submit an article to several different article directories, but it would have been helpful if you had the option of changing details such as title or description for each submission so that the Search Engines don't end up seeing exactly the same article pointing back to your site.


• No Spinner software
  I would have loved to see a spinner section in the article submission project to allow you to spin each article into a unique version which would then be submitted to individual aricle directories.


• Learning curve
  This is not a simple piece of software and it takes quite some time to get to know it.
  The amount of videos in the video training series is overwhelming, and they are not as enticing as the videos on the salespage, but I guess you really do need to learn as much as possible in order to make the most out of the software.

Even if the price is steep, I would recommend using SEO Elite as it will definitely save you time and effort.

Spend some time to get over the initial learning curve and once you have some moderate success with your site, buy SEO Elite to improve your time:effort ratio.

Alternatively, buy SEO Elite, test it and ask for your money back if it is too soon into your learnership.
